ATW member Tod Allman now lives outside Manila and is working with several linguists to create dictionaries and grammars for their language. Since Tagalog is the national language, he spent his two years developing a Tagalog dictionary and grammar.
Our software then did the first draft translations of Genesis, Ruth, Esther, Daniel and Luke in Tagalog, and other Old Testament books are currently being translated.
Currently, Tod is working with missionaries at Wycliffe Bible Translators to modify the Tagalog dictionary and grammar to accommodate a language called Ayta Mag-Indi.
After Tod Allman and Ephraim Rey translate the book into Tagalog, the text is reviewed by two adults, one high school student, and two elementary school students. We then distribute the translations via a free phone app available on the Google Play store and produce videos and printed books. .
